In 2023 the SOAA negotiated the largest, one-time pay increase for unionized workers in the state of Colorado with a $6\/hour raise for the members of CO Springs and the Western Slope and most recently, in April of this year, succeeded in negotiating one of the largest wage increases on a federal government contract with a wage increase of 40% over the course of the next three years.<\/p>\n<p>The bargaining power of the SOAA will continue to bear fruit as the membership grows in number, resulting in greater benefits to its members, and in a time of uncertainty the worth of a strong, capable union is invaluable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Historic pay raises and other economic compensation.
