Historic pay raises and other economic compensation.

The SOAA has an impressive track record of negotiating wage increases for our members. In 2023 the SOAA negotiated the largest, one-time pay increase for unionized workers in the state of Colorado with a $6/hour raise for the members of CO Springs and the Western Slope and most recently, in April of this year, succeeded in negotiating one of the largest wage increases on a federal government contract with a wage increase of 40% over the course of the next three years.

The bargaining power of the SOAA will continue to bear fruit as the membership grows in number, resulting in greater benefits to its members, and in a time of uncertainty the worth of a strong, capable union is invaluable.
